Sausage and cabbage fry-up
I added some cabbage coleslaw to leftover sausage pasta sauce for a nice low carb lunch. Came out very nicely.
Sausage and cabbage fry up
1-2 cups of leftover sausage tomato sauce (recipe below)
1 cup coleslaw mix
Fry leftover sausage sauce until most of the liquid has evaporated and the tomato starts to brown. About 5-8 minutes. Add cabbage coleslaw and allow to slightly wilt, one minute should suffice.
Sausage tomato sauce
6 italian sausages
1 med onion, sliced
1 jar tomato sauce
Add sausages to a frying pan with a little water. Cover and cook for 5-6 minutes till the water evaporates and sausages are cooked through. Remove and add onions. Slice sausages into rounds and put back in the pan. Brown the sliced sausages and soften the onions. Add jar of tomato sauce and a little water to thin it out.
